~Examples of Standards~
Learner:
I had created a Pinterest account, so now I am able to connect with other teachers and see what they have done to their classrooms to make them more appealing for children. I can even find some ideas for lessons and activities I could do with my students. Having twitter is useful because it gives me the opportunity to find something knew and learn how to create it or try to create something as my own. I can even share my creations with others on the platform so other teachers can also learn from my posts.
|
I recently just created a twitter account, so now I able to follow and connect with other teachers on that platform. I now have the opportunity to join different twitter groups from teachers to try to learn new things about teaching or learn about different things that I could do in my classroom. I'm also able to share my own thoughts to others on the platform and they are given the chance to also learn from my thoughts.

Leader:
I had done the content exploration badge this semester and this helped me find wonderful website to use in my classroom. All the sources I had looked at were very easy to access and work with. I think if I were to keep this list and use the resources in my classroom, I would share them with other teachers. Because when a good useful website is found it it good to have others aware of it, so they could use it in their classrooms too. This gives teachers a chance to lead the others in finding new way to teach through online exploration.

Screen casting is a method of pre-recording a presentation or a how-to video on your own screen to share with others. In those videos your screen and voice are about to be present. Screen casting allows students to present without having to standup in front of the class and talk. Instead, student is about to record their presentations and share it with the teacher directly. The teacher can even record lessons and how-to videos to share with her students. In relation to the leader standard my screen cast goes over a presentation on a reflection of the 1st field experience.

Citizen:
One of the badges I did was the copy right and plagiarism. This taught me how to make sure that I don't copy or steal resources from others online resulting in me getting in big trouble. This information will help me teach my student the information that I had learned from completing this badge. This teaches the student how to correctly use resources online and gives students multiple reasons why these skills are important to have to be smart on the internet.
|
Another badge that I had completed was Digital Citizenship and Safety. This helps students truly learn how to protect themselves on the internet. It also teaches them how to act on the internet to be a good citizen to everyone on there. This also teaches student what to share on the internet and how to protect their personal information.
|
Collaborator:
In my online lesson I have my students collaborating together to look at each other's projects. This gives my students the chance to see what their peers had done while also critiquing their projects. This Teach's children how to work with other and give suggestion on how to make they projects even better for next time. Students are also able to learn how to give valuable information concerning project or anything that they will review in the future.
|
Also, in my online lesson I included an activity were my students work on a google slides to create their own setting. The setting can be from a movie, book, or they can create their own setting. This allows students to see all the other images their peers are creating, and they are able to provide the same privilege for their peers. When they are able to see their peers work, they are able to see how their peers are thinking and try to find good ideas for their own assignment.

Designer:
My concept map helps map out any plans or activities that you as a teacher might do. The concept map is like a web where you place all the thing that associate with the topic in the middle. This helps students lay out their thoughts or this is an away to present a project for a class. Students and teachers are able to design different things with this tool. I used it as a way to design my online lesson and used it to plan out all the activities I would be doing.
|
My whole online lesson module would also contribute to the design standard. Because I had to design a whole lesson that would be valuable to my student's education. This had me thinking and coming up with multiple fun and creative activies for my students to do.
|
Facilitator:
The hour of code allows student to explore the world of coding. When doing this the students are able learn new skills and learn how to game just like the coders that create all the games that they play. It also allows students to use their creativity to make the characters they code to do whatever they liked.
|
Chatterpix allows students and teachers to create videos as an object or another thing. Students are able to add creative elements to make their videos and they can communicate in a new and fun way. Students are able to share these videos with others and they are able to use these videos to let their teacher know that they are understanding topic.

Analyst:
Quizizz is a website that quizzes student on the material that they learn in class. It also gives teachers a chance to see where their students stand when it come to their understanding of the topic and the big idea of the topic. This shows the students' progress as the continue to grow and reach their personal goals and they are able to see were they need to improve. I made a quizizz for my online lesson that helps students identify the character traits in the stories and what happens in the story.
|
In my online lesson I had the student read a short story and they have to state the character traits of two of the characters. students have to look closely and really think about how the characters act and look at what they do to make them do what they do.
